Has so much time ever gone by since you’ve tasted your chef’s cooking, that you actually forget how good it is? I mean, you know in your head that they cook really well, but since you RARELY get to eat it yourself, you just kind of forget . . . until they cook for you.
Oh my!! That was AMAZING!
That was my dinner tonight. Nothing super crazy, just some grilled lamb, ham that he cured himself, cheesy potatoes (which I’m sure have an actual name, but that’s what I call them) and grilled asparagus. It was really good.
It’s such a shame our chefs cook for others so much more than they cook for us. But then again if they were home to cook for us each night, most of them would not have a job. So I guess we’ll let them keep cooking for others.

PS: On another note, it’s been a while since I’ve posted. Chemo was horrible, but that’s behind me and we just found out a few days ago that it worked really well. Woohoo!!
